Update

September 11th, 2008 by Stephan | No Comments | Filed in update

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to apologize for not posting in a little while. Things have been manic lately at work and at home and so I haven’t had a spare moment in a while. Our dog Lily (see Our Pets) broke her leg and so we have been dealing with a hobbling puppy as of late. Work is a whole other issue and I won’t go into that because no one wants to hear about what I do; at least that is what my wife says.

Anyway, I promise you that I will do my best to put something up tomorrow after I take Lily to her surgery appointment.

Good baking,
Stephan

So in our little crescent we had three people sell their homes this summer and currently we have two (the third hasn’t taken possession yet) new neighbors. The first new neighbors got some of the Sour Cherry Almond Oatmeal Scones and the Blackberry-Lemon Scones and I was planning to give the newest neighbor a batch of freshly made Buttermilk Doughnuts. This didn’t end up working since this is what the first half of them looked like inside:

Obviously I couldn’t give this to her.
